- expense
- n° of purchases
- n° of days of purchase
- expense frequency (each item’s n° of days of purchase over n° of calendar days up to the current day)
- dates of purchase (distribution of the item’s days of purchase in the year, and in each month)

each rectangle represents a quarter where the item has expense
you can sort the items in many ways
each white rectangle represents a quarter
the length of each colored rectangle, relative to the length of the white rectangle underneath, represents the percentage of the n° of calendar days in the quarter, on which money has been spent on the item
each line represents a day where money has been spent on the item
each light blue rectangle’s and white rectangle’s length, represents a quarter
tap any card for the days of purchase distribution in the year, to see the distribution within each month
you can see, at a glance, whether:
- the expense on the item has been frequent, in the year (month or quarter)
- whether the days where money has been spent on the item, are concentrated in any part of the year (any part of the month or quarter)
- whether the days of purchase on the item are close to one another
